@ admin: It doesn’t work with my Blog either and I don’t use SEO-Plugins. So I guess it just doesn’t work.

I’d like to know which file you changed in what way to make the quote marks in German style? Just contact me, that would be nice (you have my mailadress with this comment ;) ).

(And: to type two commas instead of « would be really annoying.)

Actually, I saw the option and tested it — did not work out. But: it might interfere with my SEO-Plugin that does lots of things to the HTML-Header, perhaps I should point my attention in that direction. I see the hyphenation more as a surplus, as lines work out quite well for now.

As for the quotemarks: I have read your comment, but it solves only part of my problem, as I have to type accordingly (two commas instead of an inch-sign), which I normaly would forget about. So I finally decided to »hardcode« your plugin to convert into inverse french quotemarks, as those fit into the lines better in the sans-font I am using than the »9966«.

Thank you for highlighting my wp-Typography plugin. Two corrections:

1. If hyphenation is enabled, the plugin’s option page provides an option to disable it for headings.

2. As far as I am aware, German quotemarks are properly handled. I’ve actually taken the plugin through extensive German testing (many thanks to Erz at http://kontextschmiede.de/). For more clarification, please see this comment
